Parish Counseling Services

Rejoice Counseling Apostolate partners with parishes to make Catholic counseling more accessible to their parishioners. If you are a parishioner at one of the churches we serve then you will have the benefit of receiving professional counseling or marriage and family therapy onsite at your parish or another parish we serve.

Meet with Your Parish Counselors

Below you will find a list of parishes that we serve.  To learn about your Parish Counseling Services select the parish where you are a registered parishioner. Then request to meet with a counselor.

Not a Parishioner?

Wondering what to do if you are not a parishioner at any of these parishes? No worries, we can still work with you in counseling. You can view our main counseling website for details about our counseling services available to you.

We are ready to journey with you after Harvey

It is common for people to experience strong emotional reactions after a natural disaster, such as overwhelming grief, fears, intense anxiety, hopelessness, anger, or a loss of faith. While several organizations and churches are working to provide physical relief and resources to those in need, we also want to provide you with emotional and psychological support. In addition to professional counseling, we are giving some presentations on how you and your family can cope with the impact of Hurricane Harvey and the flooding. More dates and locations are forthcoming.

Flood Victims Support Group

Do you feel defeated, depressed, angry, anxious, or afraid after being flooded? Are you in need of Christian hope and emotional support? Rejoice Counseling Apostolate will lead a 4-week support group for flood victims and others who have been impacted by Harvey. Participants will better understand the psychological impact of this natural disaster, develop coping skills that promote healing and bring peace to your anxiety, and form supportive relationships with other parishioners. The sessions will combine education, conversation, and open sharing of experiences in a prayerful environment. The program dates are Thursdays, Oct 5, 12, 19 & 26 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Christ the Good Shepherd. Registration is free for parishioners, but space is limited. RSVP to Nick LaRocca, LPC Intern, at nick@rejoicecounseling.com.
