– Dr. Chris Stravitsch, President

“Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has called us to be “a Church that goes forth toward those who are ‘wounded’, who are in need of an attentive ear, understanding, forgiveness and love.” To help us fulfill this mission of healing, we work with Rejoice Parish Counseling to provide counseling services for our parish community. It is my heartfelt prayer that everyone who is wounded will receive Christ’s healing touch, so that we will join together in proclaiming the Gospel of Joy!”

– Fr. Pat Garrett, Pastor

Parish Presentations You Don’t Want to Miss!

Forgiveness: Called to Mercy

7:00pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018

This special presentation by Nick LaRocca, LPC Intern, will use the Gospel parable of the Prodigal Son as a backdrop of mercy, forgiveness, and the bitterness of anger and resentment. Going further it examines excerpts from papal documents and synthesizes the 4 steps of forgiveness as outlined by psychologists Enright & Fitzgibbons. Attendees will be able to reflect on and participate in God’s forgiveness and help others to do the same. Forgiveness and mercy are a part of our everyday lives. We all need to forgive someone or be forgiven, or need to help our loved ones learn about forgiveness. This talk is for everyone! Free and open to the public.
