Processing Conversations for The Josephites

Welcome! As a Josephite, you labor selflessly in the vineyard of the Lord. Yet, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, your work has changed dramatically. The crisis is threatening parish and school ministries and impacting the people you serve. We are pleased to offer you an opportunity to process this experience together, to receive support, and to gain new insights for your ministry.

Bishop John Ricard and The Josephite Leadership Council want to ensure all the Josephite priests, brothers, and seminarians feel supported and connected with each other in this difficult time. For that purpose, they have recruited Rejoice Counseling Apostolate to facilitate a series of conversations with The Josephite community. These “processing conversations” will give you the opportunity to connect with each other during the COVID-19 crisis, discuss the difficulties currently faced in the parish setting, receive guidance for self-care, offer ideas to one another for navigating the pandemic, and learn how to support the mental health of your staffs and parishioners. Each of our processing conversations will address a specific topic and will be facilitated by Dr. Chris Stravitsch and the Parish Counseling Team at Rejoice Counseling Apostolate.

When: Wednesdays, 12:00-1:15pm CT * September 2, 9, 16 @ 23.
You will receive access information for all the dates and topics.

What will be discussed:

September 2 – PRACTICING SELF-CARE IN UNCERTAIN TIMES
September 9 – GRIEVING, SURRENDERING & PRAYING THROUGH THE PANDEMIC
