Meet Justin…

Justin Perry, MS, LMFT Associate
Supervised by Dr. Chris Stravitsch, DMin, LPC-S, LMFT-S

Justin Perry is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern Mississippi. He receives counseling supervision from Dr. Chris Stravitsch, DMin, LPC-S, LMFT-S. Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville following two years as a seminarian at St. Joseph’s Seminary College in Covington, LA. In counseling, Justin can address anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, family conflict, adolescent behavioral issues and more.

Justin counsels utilizing a family systems approach integrated with his Catholic Faith. In counseling, he primarily uses structural family therapy, strategic family therapy, and Bowen Family Systems Theory astheoretical models. Justin has previously worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents facing suicidal thoughts, depression, and behavioral issues as well as a catholic school counselor. It was during his formation as a seminarian that Justin discerned his passion for working with families. He enjoys using the power of relationship to help families find healing.

In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys baking, working on cars, and roasting coffee beans. He and his family attend St. Faustina Catholic Church.
