Meet Nick…

Nick LaRocca, M.Ed., LPC

Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned a Master of Education in Counseling (2011) from The University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2005) while studying at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Additionally, Nick has completed graduate courses in Catholic Theology at the Augustine Institute in Denver. He has also completed Level 2 Gottman training in marriage counseling, consisting of research-based strategies that help couples successfully manage conflict, dialogue about their most difficult gridlocked issues, heal hurts, and deepen their intimacy. He counsels individuals, couples, and families.

Prior to his training as a Professional Counselor, Nick worked as a Mental Health Case Manager at Spindletop MHMR in Beaumont Texas and as an Early Intervention Specialist for BACH Early Childhood Intervention in Angleton Texas. Nick worked as a Catholic Ministry Director at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Houston from 2007-2017 (Youth Ministry & Adult Faith Formation) working with adolescents, adults, and families. During his training and education as a professional counselor, he worked in private practice, hospice, and pastoral settings. He offers an integrative counseling approach based on professional techniques and also incorporates prayer, faith, and reason in a Catholic context.

Away from the office, he enjoys time at home with his beautiful wife and their four wonderful children.
